Crossroads
A studio microphone in a wooden recording booth, ready for a conversation

Podcast · Radio show · Online support group

Real stories, told out loud.

Crossroads Podcast UK started in lockdown to get people talking openly about life. Guests tell us what happened to them, from grief and divorce to mental health and sexual assault, and find counselling and support along the way.

What we talk about

The conversations people don't usually have

Every guest brings their own story. These are the subjects that come up again and again.

Mental health

Anxiety, depression, breakdowns and the slow work of getting better, from people who have lived it.

Grief and death

Losing someone, and what nobody tells you about the months and years after.

Rape and sexual assault

Survivors speaking in their own words, at their own pace.

Family, marriage and divorce

Relationships that hold, ones that break, and starting again afterwards.

Support from people who understand

Online support group

Support from people who understand

Alongside the podcast we run counselling support group meetings online. You join from home on a phone, tablet or computer, wherever you are in the world.

Come along, listen, and talk when you feel ready.

  • Meetings are online, so you can join from anywhere
  • Talk about what is on your mind, big or small
  • Meet people who have been through something similar

Be a guest

Everyone has a story to tell

If something has happened in your life that you want to talk about, we would like to hear from you.

  1. Get in touch

Send us a few lines through the form or give us a ring. Tell us as much or as little as you like.

  2. Have a chat

We talk with you about your story and what you would like to say on air.

  3. Record your episode

We record the conversation, and you tell it your way.

  4. Find support

Telling your story can stir things up. Our online support group is there for you afterwards.

Struggling right now?

We are a podcast and a support group, not an emergency service. If you need to talk to someone today, Samaritans answer day and night, free, on 116 123. In an emergency, call 999.
